Hi Ryan, your friend PD sent me this and it hit me square in the sweet spot. It´s taken me two ´being-let-goes´ to realise that I wasn´t cut out for that kind of culture any more. I´m a freelance, it gets a bit hairy at times, but it´s never ever as miserable.
Hi BigRedBaboon, is it ok if I call you that? Good on you for realising and getting out to walk your own path. For so many of us we realise something isn't for us but seem to think we need to stick around. Thanks for reading and sharing!
Thanks Market Cat! I am looking forward to meeting people making things. Can't for your story to be published next month. I think making Hoshigaki may be classified as a "found" trade in Australia.

The image of making an "arc" mark on that winery floor has stayed with me for days!
:) If you need any cleaning done I am free.
A lost trade may be found after one absconds from soulless work? Enjoy your weekend in Bendigo

Brilliant piece Ryan. It is true that the email bog remains but whatever we are doing creating that clean piece of concrete is essential!!
Thanks for the feedback Steve! I hope you have been inspired to delete a few emails today!
