Wow! Congrats on the book! Checking it out now, and it seems quite interesting.
Thanks for sharing this piece--especially about aging parents and dealing with anxiety. What I have learned is that we are never alone in our anxiety because so many of us struggle with it! We just have to do the things we know we should to manage it--for ourselves, yes, but (as you point out) for those around us.
Ryan thanks for another fantastic piece. You have an uncanny knack of seemingly describing my own mental landscape while telling your own personal story.
Pissing myself over the elbow driving, a developing world classic. Writing this from Northern Iraq I can tell you that without the gym, I'd probably be an alcoholic, and definitely more stressed from living in such isolated places. But I'd be lying if part of it isn't to be able to walk unassisted at 80..... Great submission this week for obvious reasons........
Great piece again, Ryan. Sometimes we fail to understand the power we have that impacts on others around us…this power remains even when we feel powerless ourselves. Qualcosa da imparare dagli italiani.
Great piece Ryan. Enjoyed that and the gold nuggets therein. Look forward to having a read of the book. Cheers

Another great read Ryan - Greetings from Riyadh!
Excellent read, thanks Ryan. I like the way you wove your story through the traffic. I hear you.
Good luck with the book launch!

Really enjoyed this piece, both the philosophical and the humorous.
