In January of 2022 I set my out of office notification to forever. There was a vague outline of a Plan A and no Plan B.

I had been writing on and off now for five years but this year went all in to pursue a creative life. Reading Out of Office will not make you rich. It will not bring you success. It won’t even tell you how to make a change. What it will do, is encourage you to stop moving forward in a straight line, to standstill, to look around, to find out what you really need in your life and move towards it with courage. It will inspire you to find the path to your own conclusions and actions.

Making a radical change is not easy. It is hard, messy and often incomplete. There is no end point, no finish line, just a way of being. We do it not because it is easy, but because it is necessary.

I post every two weeks on a Thursday morning. Join me, I don’t know where I am going, not sure how I will get there, but the direction is forward, it will be fun and there is no turning back.
